Marisol knew Nox’s name, but other than that, names were being dropped that she didn’t know anything about. Oriena, Sterling, Cruz - she had no idea who these people were. One was apparently a younger person. Ahe disapproved of the whole thing. She kept it from her face though. Compulsion. Forcing someone to do something against their will. That was not only wrong, it was probably damaging. Attacks on the mind only made it weaker. How long would it be before the mind broke completely.

Marisol wasn’t opposed to breaking rules - if needed - even if it rubbed her wrong. Lying to the public worked in theory - as long as they didn’t find out. Conspiracy theorists would always try to say the government was hiding things from them. There were whole news outlets that thrived on that sort of thing. Things that said absurd to info like “Elvis’s Alien Love Child Held Nikolai Brandon’s reins.” It was bullshit and most people saw it as such. Saying someone was killed by a vampire would have little effect - unless they lied about it and were found out. Eroded trust was hard to rebuild. There were arguments on both sides that made sense. Marisol wasn’t opposed still making up her mind.

But Marisol became a cop to protect people and if they were in danger - she’d do what she could to protect others - supernatural threat or not. That was her duty. Clean up could come later when action was needed now. She kept silent as she thought. Unsure of what to say.
