Damn. Manix seemed to know even less about what he was doing than Jaxen did. And he lacked the little education Jaxen had from the snake-people.

A disappointed frown touched Jaxen's lips, but he quickly smothered the emotion when movement caught the corner of his eye. Elyse sitting down only reminded Jaxen he was standing still. There was nothing to be learned here.

Seeing no point in whispering, he shrugged. "Okay. You two have fun then." He slipped away into the silversmiths shop, but kept close to the window. If Manix left, Jaxen was toying with the idea to follow him. But mostly out of boredom, he doubted there was anything to learn.
Jaxen said a "Curt" farewell and was gone. What had changed, he seemed a fellow only caring for his own interest. So either he found Manix lacking in anything he needs, something scared him off, or he thinks Manix can lead em to something better.

SCARED! was this simple looking girl one of the rumored hunters of his kind?

Well M'lady tis nice meeting ye even under strange happenings.
With a bow of his head he quickly walks away, preparing for a quick change into a rather favorite disguise.
