Nox may not act like he has money but he does. And not family money, and not charity from me. Well not exactly, charity.

Nox has good ideas. He is silent partner in two of my companies. Both with offices in the building -- his building. He lives like he does because it's all he's known. He'll be a vagabound the rest of his life. But he'll want for nothing as long as he keeps pushing the software Aurora designed and I keep tweaking to fit his needs. It's been sold many places and is used round the world in new interfaces. And his security system was genius. He couldn't implement it without me, but it was his idea. His plans. He's got another one cooking. He just doesn't know it yet. Well he does, he asked me. He just doesn't see the bigger picture.

Nox was wealthy - because he had good ideas and didn’t spend anything. She was well off because she didn’t spend anything. It was really why Elyse had no problem giving money away. If the fosters need it more - give it to them then. As far as spending it - I’ll leave that to you with the assumption you’ll spend/invest it wisely for their needs. My needs are met and my wants are few the 1/4 liquid assets I have + my savings + whatever I get when I liquidate the rest of the estate will be more then enough for me to get my own place once self harm thoughts are no longer around.

That’s two steak dinners and I’ll work extra hard to get Nox to cook them.

I'll split the money however you want. You want to help the kids you know. What about the hundreds of kids Nox wants to help who he can't logically foster or care for?

Sage attached the working business plan he was hashing together with Ana and Christian based off of Nox's base idea. Ana already had a philanthropy project she'd acquired and was running well in Madrid. The plan was solid, but Nox's ideas went beyond it and more specific to Moscow's needs.

Nox was looking for funding to put together a halfway house specifically to put the refugees to work. Not as slave labor but to teach them a skill if they don't have one. Give them resume skills, and computer skills and for a decent day work in learning or work, a comfortable and safe place to live. And most importantly a place you can use as your home address so you can apply for jobs.

Ana's charity was called Second Chances. She'd aquired it from the same person who had bought Cyberpoint ironically and it tickled Sage to think it was all part of the same thing.

Nox wanted to specifically open a restaurant where all the employees except the Manager and the Head Chef were all refugees, homeless folks learning a new trade or just trying to make ends meet. Their wages would give them spending money but it would mostly cover their room and board and their training. Ana liked the idea of calling the restaurant Chances.

In addition to what Ana's charity already had going Nox wanted to specifically help the children displaced by the Atharim and monsters and tragedy. Sage needed to reach out to Emily still. Nox might do it, but he was always so busy there was no telling when he'd get the chance, and Sage did literally nothing all day but talk to people. It fell into exactly what he did for a living.

I might suggest an investment and see where Nox's idea takes you.

There HCA’s manuscripts of his three books of fairy tales. Donate them to the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen (anonymously). The rest of it sell. Give me a total when done, I’ll figure out what to do with it from there. If the fosters are going to be taken care of, I’ll likely donate to this project. Either way - anonymously.

And don't worry about Nox's kids. He's got them all covered. Though Liam might benefit from some money towards university, since that's like less time than the others get and soon if he keeps at his current pace.

Elyse actually wouldn’t mind if Sage would talk with her. She considered sending Hayden a message but didn’t want to bother him either - and there was a chance sex would happen and she didn’t know how Anna would feel about that in her house.

You do know you aren't a bother. And no offense, you are like one in ten things I'm processing right now. And hardly a blip on that radar. Not meant to say you are a blip, just... nevermind. But you aren't a bother.

Elyse's phone starts playing one of Nox's goto dance party play lists with nothing but fun songs to move too. Nothing sad or depressing, just a lot of fun.

Dance till you can't. It'll help you not think about things. Just move. Don't have to make sense.Focus on your body and the music and nothing else.
