Cain breaks his block with help from Nox, although the man does it in a way that supremely pisses Cain off. In the ensuing fight, Cain draws far deeper on Saidin than he ever had before, straining three separate times.
Current strength increases from 8 to 10.
Also, Cain successfully uses a weave of Spirit to cut through Nox's wall of Air. The second him he does so, after realizing his block is broken, it ends up being fairly easy for him.
