It would be very hard to defeat a channeler who is AWARE of the dangers, if they are Expert or above.
I don't think there would be any certain way to kill them in that state. Guns etc.. for the average Joe are quite effective, as the channeler would have to be weary and focus very hard on avoiding/blocking the bullets.
The easiest method to kill a channeler who is unaware would be sniping.
