The door was unlocked with magic. Hayden came in and Kenzie lunged at him but he grabbed her and held her tight. She kicked and screamed. "Let me go."
Tatyana came up and told her to calm down. She didn't want to calm down. She wanted to kill him, just like he'd killed her parents.
"I need them."
Hayden hauled her over to the bed while she kicked him and struggled against him. But he held her close so she could barely move. "Why do you need them Kenzie?"
She screamed "Arg!" and she bit him. He let go jerking his arms away and she ran out the door and straight into a wall of nothing. Kenzie bounced back her face bloodied and she curled in a ball and cried and screamed.
