Quillon hadn’t expected such a dramatic story. His eyes widened the more that Penny explained, and when it dawned on him how that story was ending, he was white as a sheet.

Quillon wasn’t exactly a warm and fuzzy guy. Calliope always brought that part out in him, but he wasn’t heartless either. This girl was crying and for very real and traumatic reasons. “Oh my god, Penny!” He didn’t know what else to say so he just hugged her until she was ready to let go.
