Ivan's ears perked up. Compulsion Why had he not heard about this? They were waiting for the Agent to finish its analysis. And they were gonna be snowed in, if the fat flakes he could see drifting down through the windows was any indicator.
To Vega, "What can you tell me about compulsion? Do you know how it works? Are there any limitations?" He was thinking of hypnotism. He'd heard that people could not be forced to do things that went against their morals or beliefs or whatever.
Now he was wishing he could get more training. Ascendancy had given him some. Course, he doubted the man had hours to give him. "Does Nox teach this stuff?" he said idly. Another idea occurred to him. "I wonder if the consulate has any kind of training. Seems like something useful, especially since channelers are officers and in the military and such."
And now that he said it, he had to believe that they had it, or were working on it. It was obvious.
