Jaxen was rattled, but not stupid. Sage’s offer to stay the rest of the night rent a shiver down his spine.
“No fucking way. I’m going home...” he muttered more to himself than to Sage. After a quick pat down to confirm he was all in one piece, he realized his Hello Kitty sticker was missing, but it was a small token. "Sage," he turned back, "Tell Nox thanks for the party."
