A Friend of a Friend [Nox's Building]
#34
Elyse could smell that he had been disappointed. She had even smelled a bit of fear earlier. She had rode with that for a bit. Hayden had told her that this was for her, but she couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed that it hadn’t meant as much for him as it had for her. He decided to clean off and it surprised her that he decided to take care of her as well.

”Nox was a rather thorough lover - no I’ve never…been that dominant before. It’s always scared me…like I would lose control.” she hadn’t. The wolf had remained still the entire time.

She laid down next to him, resting her head on his chest and placing her hand on his shoulder. ”Thanks for talking. And for this. I needed them both more than I knew,” she said. ”If I need to talk again - will you listen?” she asked. Before continuing, ”I scared you.” it was a statement, not a question. His disappointment aside, she was truly worried about having frightened him.
