Cadence watched as she listened, a light smile on her face. The entire conversation was a nice relief after a long week of good solid work. Making music together built relationships in an intimate way - especially when you were in the recording studio. You spent so much time with each other and could see both the best and the worst in people.
His options actually surprised her though. She had expected to hear something like go to a club, go dancing, or surprise people with karaoke. But most of them allowed her to just rest and relax. One thing was if she went out in public, she’d likely be recognized by someone. It would likely be best to avoid that.
She watched with a bemused smile, but that changed when he mentioned she was gorgeous. Cadence wasn’t the best at picking up on social cues, but she had noticed his little flirts throughout the week. She hadn’t really responded much to it, as focused as she was on her work even if they caused a slight smile. But when he said gorgeous her smiled grew a little and she felt a slight blush to come to her cheeks. It was something she hadn’t heard much - mostly because she hadn’t been in situations where people said it. Even so, she didn’t really think of herself that way - not that she thought she was ugly.
She did notice, however, that Ezvin could easily be inserted into any one of his suggestions. It was pretty clear to her, that he wanted to spend time with her this weekend. She found herself liking that idea. She had enjoyed their time together this week.
Cadence allowed the silence to reign for a bit. It wasn’t awkward, so she didn’t feel weird about thinking about his options. ”Well the third one is out,” she said, breaking the silence. ”I’m not at a point where I could do that without getting antsy yet. I’ll consider it for the future though.”
She put her other leg down and stretched as she contemplated the rest. ”The movie option has merit. Nothing like watching a bad, campy movie, and I’m sure your commentary would be great!” she gave him a grin. ”And people watching sounds fun - but not feeling that one right now. But ‘aimless adventures’” her smile widened. ”There is an excitement to that. An adventure sounds great. So you tell me when and where to go - and I’ll be there.”
