The poor woman looked so tired. She had to imagine that being a cop would be tiring. Anna understood why she had sat down for a bit. When you had a rough day and then one more tiny thing happened that made you just want to shut down. Something as simple as the bag holding your groceries breaking could cause that. Anna went to help and of course she tried to get her to stop. The woman now seemed more embarrassed than anything else.
"Don't worry about it. It's fine," Anna told her with an understanding smile.
A box was brought out and they began to put the spilled bag in it. Cade joined in to help as well. Introducing them to the woman, Marisol. Despite her gratefulness, Marisol still seemed to be embarrassed, and Anna thought the woman was going to turn down his offer of help just because she didn't want to inconvenience them. It really wouldn't be much of an inconvenience. They were going to the same area.
"That would be very appreciated," she said, running her hand through her hair with a sigh. "Thank you all so much."
"No problem," Anna responded, grabbing one of the bags that hadn't broken. "Lead the way."
