Cade put the groceries on the counter and glanced around the apartment. He imagined most were the same, but decorations always spoke about the person. Marisol was busy, her place was clean, but the dishes in the sink meant there wasn't time enough in the day to take care of them properly. Nothing wrong with that. Cade was a bit neurotic about his dishes. Mostly because he didn't like things out of place.
As they left Marisol offered to answer any questions. Cade offered his hand. "I might take you up on that. I don't have any questions at the moment, but I might after I see the place for myself. It's a good location, the best fit really for what I need." He said. "It was nice seeing you, might see you again soon." He probably would. This was the best location even if the apartment sucked.
The landlord opened the door to the apartment across the hall. It would be nice to know your neighbor. The apartment didn't disappoint. It too was fully furnished like all the others. It was a two bedroom with a decent combined living space, and the second room was furnished more like an office. With his new job he might actually need one, pro-bono and working out of a clinic he might need a place to do some work in the off hours, he imagined lots of late nights. All the more to keep him busy.
The furniture was nice and clean lines, and there was slashes of color in each room. All in all it was still his favorite. "Still my favorite. And the people are nice. What do you think?" he asked Anna.
