Adam nodded and turned to his fridge, pulling out two bottles of Coke. It was the stuff with real sugar and came in glass bottles. He twisted the caps off and handed one to Ephraim before sitting down across from him. He kept his own bottle held in his cybernetic hand, held with a surprising gentleness. It was his oldest implant and he was quite used to it by now. It surprised him how dexterous the fingers seemed to be.
His admission of loneliness somewhat surprised him, but he needed something to tell him about why he felt off. Lying to Ephraim just seemed wrong. He actually seemed to give a damn. "LUMA," he said testing the word. An AI. An artificial friend. He wasn't sure what he thought about it, but he considered it. Temporary. Maybe. And it could help pass the time. It would possibly be an asset when he actually started doing whatever it was they would eventually want him to do. He wasn't sure who Dr. Devere was, but it seemed like who ever it was could make it something that would relate to him more. "It certainly couldn't hurt. We can do that."
Ephraim brought up field testing, so Adam had no problem bringing it up. "Do you know when field testing will be?" It wasn't about getting out. He was interested to see what he could do though. He certainly felt stronger. His joints moved smoother than they ever had. Of course, he could hear the slight mechanical whir as he did. It was silent to anyone who didn't have the augmented hearing he had. "Do you know what it will entail too?" There was some excitement there - a significant contrast to his former mood. Word is they had manufactured a firearm for him that linked to his cyberarm allowing only him to use it.

Intelligence is knowing Frankenstein wasn’t the monster; Wisdom is knowing Frankenstein was the monster.
