Flipping through the pages of a journal she should not have, Lyra found a mention of a creature that feed on the gods themselves. Mist like men who were used as assassins once were now pulled to feed on those that they had once hunted. These Ijiraqs seemed intriguing, but how goes one go about hunting a monster and capturing it?
She didn't even know if they still existed.
It brought up a lot of questions. But it also have her an idea. But she would need to learn from the CxR project. Fishing too many monsters may not be a good idea. But what kind of creature would work best...
The CxR project had meant successes. Lyra sat down and received some of her notes she still had and wrote down everything she remembered. It wasn't exactly on task, but it for the goal of her work here.
