Forced Withdrawals [Nox's Building]
#99
There was a lot there and a lot to process. Sometimes it seemed like Hayden wanted her to stay here. There was a promise of safety and protection. But no - it was really just him telling her what the options were. And truth be told, she didn’t want to live here. She actually liked the church especially since moving into the cave. It kept her close to Zeke too - just in case he needed her.

Hayden was a smart man. Almaz was the likely place for a fighter to go. He seemed to see a lot more than she’d like. It was a little disconcerting. Tatyana finished the rest of her soup in silence. It wasn’t sitting well in her stomach, but she didn’t think she was going to throw it up at least.

”I feel weird,” she finally said after a few moments. ”The cravings are there, but…I don’t know. It’s like knowing you’re hungry and not feeling any hunger pangs. And I don’t have a headache, but there’s pressure there. Feel a little nauseous, but don’t feel like I’m gonna throw up. Symptoms have never felt like this before,” she admitted. Maybe she should lie down.
