Anna looked at his sentence and smiled. "Perfect! I like the idea. 50's noire Batman - so detective that uses gadgets type of thing. Now that you have the sentence, we got to flesh out flaws and skills and what not. I'll walk you through it."
She walked him through it until she had her own sheet done. She was pretty excited about it. It would be fun to play a game with Cade. She hoped he enjoyed it at least. It was make believe. She was sure he had done something of the sort as a kid. This was the same, but a little more open ended. She guided him, but worked on her own sheet as well.
"Alright - here is what I got."
"That's the hard part - we'll have to figure out inventory and maybe some relationships as well. A lot of those noire detectives served in the wars too - perhaps our characters have met and are acquainted. I don't mean like best friends, but perhaps at an army hospital."

**History:**
**Single Parent Home** Evelyn’s father died when she was young and was raised only by her mother.
**Frugal** Growing up poor and in a single parent house meant that Evelyn didn’t have resources that others may have had. She has learned how to stretch pennies and is able to improvise with less than others may have.
**War Hero** Due to her experiences in the World War II, Evelyn recieved the Silver Star and a Purple heart for her work in healing Allied POWs in her POW Camp. There is a photograph of her and several other nurses that were used by the Allies to raise awareness and patriotism for the war.
**Army Nurse** Having both served in World War II and the Korean War, Evelyn is no stranger to substandard conditions. She is quick to think and despite her stresses in the war, is quite compassionate when people are ill.
**Prisoner of War** In World War II, Evelyn was stationed in the Phillippines. When the Japanese attack her and approximately 70 other nurses were taken prisoner and forced to work as nurses in a POW camp. Conditions were horrendous, but despite it all, they persevered and survived. She doesn't often talk about her war experiences except to those she trusts.
**Irish Catholic Discrimination** Her father was an Irish immigrant during a time when Irish and Catholics were both discriminated against in the states. It is a significant part of why she grew up poor and finds herself to be cynical.
**PTSD** Her experience in World War II caused Post Traumatic Stress. Evelyn has claustrophobia and it’s particularly strong if she is confined in a locked space. She often does not lock doors because of this.
**Basic Training** Basic knowledge of weapons use as well as knowledge of military protocol and command structures.
