Mick nods. Decay means things dying. So not good. Cade knew all about that. He did a rotation in the ER while in med school. Not fun.
Cade adds to the story. "So he tries to talk again to add something, something like he's drunk, but things get worse on his end and the nurse -- you? someone else? pushes me aside so you can begin working on him again."
"Mick's gonna wait around, lingering. Waiting till you get off, or have a break. He tries to stay out of the way."
Cade chuckled. "He sucks at it. The keywords are gift, camp, laugh. I'll let you decide how he gets in the way."
