Ayden's mission finally was outlined and she knew what she was hitting. Details didn't matter. She'd spent the night with Connor, he left while she was sleeping, something about having to help a friend.
When Ayden woke up she saw her mark was moving, it was a good time to take him out. Upon getting to her marks location, things went awry. She took out her mark, but in between time, some vigilantes went inside the building he was outside.
Ayden saw that one of those men was Connor. His life was in danger. Ayden shot him accidentally. After trying to heal him and failing her anger lead her to bring the building down in a fit of fire and rage.
