Alric Xavier Rainer
#1
Age: 24

Origin: Berlin, Germany in Dominance VII.

Reborn God: Yes, he's the personification of Mars the Roman God of war and agriculture. While he is the opposite side of the same coin with Ares, Mars was a revered as a God of Life rather than hated as the bloodthirsty, tyrannical, warmonger that Ares himself was. It is assumed that Mars was the second only in terms of worship to Jupiter.

A young man born in Dominance VII to Susana, a Swedish immunologist and Xavier a retired member of the GSG 9 section of the military police and an ER nurse. Both work at Berlin General Hospital.

Alric worked as a model in his teenage years before joining the D-VII military for a small stint. Using his previous jobs training he was moved into the recruitment side of the military and worked as the poster boy for many of the propaganda the military produced.

After his contract was up he resumed his modelling career. Mainly continuing his work as a model for private security firms throughout the Dominances.

Alric’s father, Xavier, began to instruct Alric in the GSG 9’s unarmed combat at a young age. Being a late bloomer Alric had begun to become bullied as he and a couple of others in his elementary class moved into Gymnasium*. This also began to spark Alric’s interest in following the Rainer tradition of pursuing a career in federal law enforcement. A number of his elders, to include his great-grandfather and grandfather, were all involved with policing at some level. His grandfather, Adolf, who was a member of the German Army before the integration into the Dominance, was a member of the military police before joining the Hunters. The Hunters were a detachment of the Mountain Troops in the southern mountain range that border what was once called Austria. Many of his missions took him out of contact but most of those were deep mountain training or he was shipped to help train a foreign country’s own mountain division through an exchange or friendly policy.

After growing into his body towards the end of his time at Gymnasium, he joined the military police. Thanks to his father’s lessons, and his mother’s firm grip on his nose in the textbooks, Alric completed his training with high enough marks to place him as the second highest in his training group. Immediately after being placed in Kiel, a city in the northern area of the former germanic country, he applied for the GSG 9. Six months later, after settling into his post in the north, his application was accepted, with thanks to his father and then-living grandfather pulling strings. After receiving his orders, Alric was whisked away to the south to begin his training.

Serving two and a half years as an active member he was moved to the public relations to work as a recruiter for the Dominance’s military force because of his age, charm and in no small part to his successes during his active missions. Then he was promoted to sergeant and placed on the inactive list of the GSG 9 which would allow the Privilege or any of their authorized agents to reactivate him should there be a pressing need.

*Gymnasium is Germany’s college preparatory school path. In Berlin specifically there is a lottery that all children are entered into and enrolled in Gymnasium to diversify the classes. Alric was one such lottery student.
