This makes me so happy!
I found FA from a post on Dragonmount in late 2013 or early 2014. I was intrigued and started to reading. We didn't have all the wonderful thread/character following tools back then, so it took some time for me to get my bearings. And I found it fascinating. The lore and world creation. I was a serious WOT nerd at the time and any hint at expanding that world appealed to me. Especially relating it to our day.
I'm not sure why I decided I could write here. Or when, exactly. Creating an autobiographical character was fairly easy (though I did try my hand at some myth creation relating the events of the 3rd age with the myths of the 5th/6th age.) And as some of you know, I was going to some fairly deep loss in my personal and family life.
FA was a haven and a place for me to write about things that were important to me. For me to explore myself. And for me to just have fun.
I have so much appreciation for all of you. Everyone of you have meant something to me. RPing with you all has been a wonderful experience and I hope to continue on. Above all, I appreciate you, Asc, for putting this all together and creating this place for us to play. And for letting be its own organic thing, rather than tyrannically ruling as some despot DM. Creativity flourishes and continues to do so.
