Things started moving fast. Eddie was doing well with the teasing and the back and forth they had, but raging hormones had other ideas. They were screaming to get on with it and feel the bliss of release. The same was happening with Rhi and she took complete control of the situation. The desire in her eyes fueled his own as she pulled at his pants, digging to get underneath. Eddie made it as easy as possible for her, before reciprocation. He let her take the lead then.
Eddie woke up the next morning. He had not known what he had expected when he had gone to Manifest last night, but it certainly hadn't been attempts at drugging drinks, clandestine business meetings, mysterious fogs, a fight with a random woman, or even sex. Eddie had had his adventures of course, but this was the first time he had done so quickly after meeting someone. He tended to be a "three dates first" kind of guy. Not that Eddie regretted it. They both were adults, both had been willing, and he was willing to bet they both enjoyed it.
He was up early, as was usual among soldiers. He hadn't put anything on to go to sleep, so he got dressed, and left the room to make some coffee. Rhi was still there and he let her sleep. She could take her time on that. The business card from the night before was still in his jacket pocket, which lay thrown across a chair in the living room. He retrieved the coat and hung it up, leaving the card in the pocket. The appointment was for the next day, so he had time to relax for a bit while coffee brewed.
