Kristian was becoming too well known. He had too many connections, too many people knew him. It was time to forge another identity. This time Xander choose to do some research. He'd heard of the underground fight club where man v man or even man v monster went down. He didn't beleive they were really monsters, but with all the shit he'd seen since coming to Moscow he could beleive just about anything these days.
He went in dressed to fit in, but he wore the persona of Z. He blended in like any other person there. Totally non-descript. He looked like everyone else. In this particular case it still meant dressing up and playing the part, but he didn't flaunt money, he hid in the shadows like he was watching. And that was exactly what he was doing. He was watching the crowd, looking for the players, the high money rollers. He was scoping out the fighters, learning the stats.
It wasn't his first time here, he was becoming a bit of a regular since the mascquade party and the failed attempt to court the healer. Such was life. It wasn't a complete loss, his headache had disappeared and he felt like a new man. Not that he wasn't going to be sporting a migraine tonight as he let his shields down to see what he could see. It was part of the whole gig. He had to see what meant something and who he could play. It was all about information. And maybe making a few bets. But only on winners, and he had still yet to find one he'd bet on.
