A gun was pulled. Her horrid voice echoed in the tunnel as she made a threat. Sasha pulled back against the wall in agony and self preservation. The wait was excruciating but eased as his attention turned from freeing himself to waiting for the other shoe to drop.
A familiar voice called out from the shadows. A trembling whimper escaped his mouth when he said her name. "Oriena," then he shouted. "Kill her!"
The words were no sooner out of his mouth as he howled in main doubling over again, clutching at the device embedded in his skull. Even if he died too her death would be worth it. Pity it wasn't at his hands.
