Seren smiled at her cup. Casey wasn't sure what that meant, but she didn't think it meant the other woman was displeased by the attention. Maybe she was shy. At least she wasn't running away. "Yeah - lucky day all around." she said with a smile.
The moment was nice, and Casey let it linger for a bit, resisting the urge to reach out and touch her hand. She didn't want to push too much since Seren seemed shy. "To answer your question with a little less flirting though," she said with a pleased chuckle, not denying it. "I spend my time not making music reading, spending time with friends, and watching movies. I'm kind of a cinephile - particularly old ones." She smiled warmly.
Casey finished up her cup of coffee and sighed in contentment. "They're not things I've had much time to do recently. We're recording out next album and it takes up a lot of time. Cadence is kind of a workaholic too. Not that I'm complaining. I like it, but it can be tiring. We got some time off for now though to relax."
Casey leaned forward, very intrigued. "You said patterns...and my mind keeps coming back to it. What you do just sounds so...interesting. Have you found any interesting patterns across cultures that you'd be willing to share."
