A Snowed In Hunt
#6
Sasha didn't believe him. This wasn't a place to collect rumors. It was a place to find trouble. And anyone who visited here knew that. But he didn't say anything as he stayed pressed against the wall. It wasn't fear, the power was just a thought away, though it was a long thought, it didn't jump out to him as easily as he knew it should -- as Nox had implied.

"Not so much home. But I am used to them. They are mostly safer than the streets." Mostly being the keywords. Different monsters hunted the streets. Different things hunted down here. But it was human's that were the worst monsters on the street. Cops and would-be-good doers who thought the homeless and less fortunate were something to fear and shun. Sasha hated those people -- he could burn them to the ground. He thought about it. Burning the city to the ground. It brought a smile to his lips before he remembered he wasn't alone. "Rumors are quiet here these days. The Ascendancy cleared the tunnels, but they aren't vacant for long." The monsters still came, they died, and feed, came and went with the tides. And more and more showed up everyday. But they liked the darkness, and they fought for territory. Right now people weren't down here, Zeke made them a home. Though Nox was seeing to their old safe havens keeping them monster free, providing privacy and shelter. He was a strange man.
