- He answered some direct questions about the show's mechanics around the OP, etc.
- He mentioned how damaging the writer's strike was because they couldn't advertise/promote the show.
- The scene for ep 7 he thinks the fans will love is: "cat crosses the courtyard.
- Mat has a scene in ep 8 that "brings happy tears to his eyes"
- He thinks Ep 7 will push some buttons because it has some of the most iconic scenes in the books mixed with the storytelling required for the show-version of the story.
