Zoradin Fel

Silence followed after Zoradin sat down, and the Asha’man bore it as he always did: with patience. Silence didn’t bother him. In general, he found it quite comforting. So he waited as the rest of the group took their places at the table or around the room, eyes on the Lord of Fal Sion. Xavier’s question following the silence wasn’t unexpected. He clearly wasn’t a borderlander.

”My last assignment was in Arafel. I’ve seen combat at the Blight,” he answered directly and to the point. Though he was certain things were worse here - in particular because there was an Andoran army on their way.

Zoradin appreciated Xavier’s candor. He was straight to the point. That’s how Zoradin preferred to communicate. He considered his Xavier’s next question carefully. His posture remained straight. Even seated he sat as if he were standing at attention. The crackling fire in the hearth pierced the silence before he once again began to speak.

”I will fight to be deserving of the honor,” he said, responding to the comment that he was the first to fight along side them. ”I’m a versatile fighter - with the blade and the One Power - it ultimately depends on how you need to use me.” the words were spoken with no bravado. It was just the simple truth.

This wasn’t the first time he had to answer these questions. He gave several options on how they could best employ him in battle. He was a careful combatant, and used to his own tiredness, could keep track of where his allies and enemies were. He mentioned that along with his combat ability, he had a minor healing talent as well as training in non-power related medicine. He knew his limitations, and he knew how others could fill the roles around him.

”It might be best to fit me in with a particular unit that can get used to working around me. We can certainly do some training exercises if time permits. I know that’s not always possible, but the more comfortable others are around me, the better - particularly when I start utilizing the One Power.”
