Following the Wolf

[Anna]

Anna arrived home and she could see the lights on in the guest room. Perhaps her boy toy hadn't come tonight. Either way it didn't matter to Anna. She unlocked the door and enter, and then realized her assessment had been wrong. For there was clearly someone in the room with her - or Elyse was having one hell of a masturbation session. Anna chuckled a bit seeing two glasses on her island.

Anna grabbed her noise cancelling headphones, put them on, and started some music as she sat down on the couch. She grabbed a book and began to read to wait it out. She could go to her room, but that was right next door. No - this would be good enough for now. She flipped her legs onto the couch and rested her head on the headrest, content to just read her book until it ended. She looked at the cover - it was one she hadn't read. Maybe Elyse had brought it. The title said "The Gunslinger" written by Stephen King - Elyse must have really liked the classics.

[Hayden]

As usual it was great sex. Elyse lay next to him after they both collapsed. Hayden rolled over on to his side towards her and smiled. "Normally, I'd be all for spending the night, but I think I heard your roommate come in."

[Elyse]

Elyse snuggled up to him. Anna wasn't her roommate, but she was home. If Hayden had heard it that confirmed that she hadn't just been hearing things. If Hayden wanted to leave though, Elyse wouldn't stop him.

"I think she is back too," she said. "You're also welcome to stay if you want - or go if you don't feel comfortable staying." There was more there. Hayden wasn't the type to worry about a walk of shame, and he had said that there were past mistakes he didn't want to repeat. He had told her this wasn't about her or what she had confided in him. It wasn't Elyse's business though and she wouldn't press. If he wanted to share, she would listen. If he didn't - that was his choice as well.

[Hayden]

Hayden nodded and sighed. She wanted to know he could feel it but this wasn't something he was willing to share. "It's one things for me to stay when we've got other motivations. Booty calls such as this..."

Hayden paused and rolled over on to his back. "That's different. Sleeping, waking up, making you breakfast, leads to romance. That's not making sure you are alright after sleeping with the guy you just told your deepest darkest feelings to. I'm good with mixing 'work' with pleasure. But it needs to remain separate. I don't do romance."

He leaned over and kissed Elyse softly. "But I am here for both a booty call and an I feel like shit call. We just need to understand what it is before we do the deed."

[Elyse]

Elyse nodded in understanding. She wouldn’t be offended if he left because she understood his limits and it made sense. Romance wasn’t something he did, and there was something intrinsically romantic about staying the night and having breakfast.

”I get it,” She returned his kiss. ”Ill make sure I’m clear if it’s a booty call or a life sucks call.”

There wasn’t any sound coming from the other side of the house. ”So how do you want to play this, wait until Anna goes to bed, I go distract her so you can escape secretly, or do you just walk right out?” she smirked at him. ”By the way, she’s not my roommate. She’s my best friend. I still live at Nox’s place. I’m gonna stay there until I’m sure I’m a little more evened out.”

[Hayden]

Hayden chuckled and pressed a kiss to her lips hungrily. "Well, I had just planned on walking out pulling my shirt on over my head much like I walked in here."

He rolled over and slide out of the bed and stretched. "I could be persuaded to stay for another round though." Hayden smirked. "Though we'll have to be extremely quiet now that your bestfriend is back home and i think I want to be louder this time."

Hayden looked around for his clothes and made sure to be provocative while doing so. He enjoyed teasing. "You can call me anytime sweetheart. For whatever you need."

[Elyse]

Elyse laughed. ”If you just put your shirt over your head, you still won’t have pants on. I’m sure Anna would enjoy the show though.”

She stood up and interrupted his clothes search, despite her enjoyment of it, with a hug. ”As much as I would enjoy a second round, it still has been a rather trying day and I’m afraid I don’t have the spoons for another go. This was great - as always. And I’ll remember to call or text if I need anything. Nox is back so I’m sure I’ll see you around for meals occasionally.” she gave him another kiss and a slap on the ass before she started looking for her clothes.

[Hayden]

Hayden laughed. "I was planning on putting my pants before walking out there darling."

He liked a playful lover and Elyse was turning out to be more fun than he'd thought she'd be. But then again she was depressed then, and now was a little different.

"Yeah I'll probably be around for a few meals." Nox would probably be doing a lot of talking. His texts had been few and far between which meant he was fighting more than living. He wasn't exactly sure how he got his number to begin with but it was convenient. Hayden supposed that walking into his house a few times gave him some time to have his friend hack his phone.

Hayden pulled on his clothes and then wrapped his arms around Elyse. "It's been great." He pulled his t-shirt on and pressed a kiss to her lips before he left her room with a wink and walked out giving Anna a little wave.

[Anna]

Anna gave Elyse’s gentleman caller a grin and a wave as he walked by. Damn he looked delicious. It took a bit before Elyse came out, Anna assuming she had gotten dressed. Her grin widened. ”Sounds like you had a good time.”

Elyse turned beat red and Anna laughed. ”You heard that!?”

Anna kept laughing. ”Oh yeah! I definitley heard that. Until I got my headphones on!” Anna gave Elyse a hug. ”Im just teasing Elyse. You had a good time and that’s what matters. You look better - feeling okay?”

Elyse nodded. ”I have very good friends, Anna. Feeling a lot better. I’m gonna stay the night but will head home tomorrow.”

Anna nodded. ”sounds like a plan. You have to wash your bedding though.”

Elyse nodded with a chuckle. The two women sat down and began to chat. Anna told her about work and Elyse told her about finding some closure that day. Anna hugged her again. ”Anytime you need anything - I’m always here for you.” and Anna meant it too.
