Cleaning Up (Nox’s Building)
#1
Elyse arrived back at the building that was now becoming her home. Anna was inside - getting herself moved in. Elyse had left to go to the psychologist. She had been surprised that she had gotten an appointment so fast, but she had sensed the urgency within the reception when she answered positively about having suicidal thoughts.

She had kept Hayden informed and even now she sent him a message stating her diagnosis. Pyschologist diagnosis: severe clinical depression. I’m on meds now. Said I might have some mood swings as I adjust.

She enter the living area and saw that the kids had been playing. The toys were around haphazard. No one had gotten around to cleaning up. Elyse’s first thought was to blame herself. It was probably because of her episode, but she was working on that.

Also having kept Anna in the loop, Elyse sent her a message. Back. Downstairs cleaning up.

Elyse knew it was time for her to start earning her keep here. This was a simple way she could start. Maybe she would touch base with Liv later and ask what she could do to ease her burden. It was a possible meeting that gave Elyse anxiety. It wouldn’t surprise her if she was on Liv’s bad side - and Elyse thought she deserved the other woman’s ire.

Elyse began to pick up the toys. There was a toy box now. She hadn’t ordered it, but it was there nonetheless.

”Sky - do you know what the procedure is for my medication?” She asked, hoping that it understood what she meant. She would clarify it if needed. She assumed that her meds would be locked up and she’d have to get them from someone else.

Anna needed to get moved in and Elyse’s appointment had just been a good time to do so. Anna checked in often and Elyse hadn’t had a problem with that. Anna wasn’t going to be here forever - she had her own home and intended to return, but Elyse needed her now, and this was a simple way for her to help.

Elyse sent a message that she was back. Anna didn’t respond, she just went downstairs to find Elyse organizing some children’s toys. ”Heya! How did it go?”

”It was helpful. You should hang on to these for now,” Elyse handed her a bottle of pills.

”Have you had your dose yet?”

Elyse shook her head. ”Thought I should be in the habit of having someone around when I take it.”

Anna nodded in understanding and checked the prescription before opening it and giving Elyse the appropriate dosage. She kept hold of the medication and started to help Elyse clean.

"Ashton, Liv and Liam have the key to the locked box that is currently locked in the guest room on the main living floor across from Lily's room. There is a physical key as well as the digital lock on the door. The Wicked Truth had the digital lock installed while you were gone. It is wired into the system I can access in case of emergency, should one arise."

"I suggest setting a schedule on the shared calendar as to when you should take your medication, so that one of the three can assist you in the process of obtaining them. I might also recommend a change in location of required medication to an electronic lock box that I can unlock and monitor for you. This would include refills, contacting your doctor when you are low and setting up an appointment and other things that I might be able to assist with. We only need to put in a requisition to obtain the new box for this new medication. All others should remain under human control."

Elyse chuckled a bit when Anna jumped at Sky’s interjection. It took some getting used to. Elyse was more comfortable with the AI now that she was more comfortable with Sage. The appointment would be a good idea she could do that later, until she remembered she didn’t have to do that.

”Sky - set a medication appointment for me daily at 8:00 AM on the shared calendar and please requisition that lockbox.”

Anna had begun to help her clean. ”I can do this - please. Just be here. This is helping.”

Her emotions were still going back and forth, but the movement was helping her keep them in check, and the mess wasn’t too bad. They could also clean the appliances later. Elyse was feeling motivated - so she felt she should use that before it was gone.

"Both tasks have been completed. The new lock box will arrive tomorrow afternoon."
