It was unnerving. But then she'd seen a lot since she'd learned others could do what she did. It was why she was here after all -- it seemed to be the heart of the power, and while she didn't know the Ascendancy she was closer than most. Hell she even knew two people who had talked directly to him which was only noteworthy because one of them was not because she worked there. Marcus of course knew the Ascendancy -- but she knew someone not in the Kremlin, though techinically Nox worked for him too -- in a more unofficial capacity.

"Staying here is fine, unless you think one of your brethern might show up, then maybe my place is better." Heating the room might be a dead give away in the cold weather and neither of them needed to be outted or hunted.
