Cade didn’t know how much his words meant to her. She hadn’t expected anything negative, but his encouraging words hit her in just the right way. Anna told him that she hadn’t told anyone about her dream before. It wasn’t embarrassment that did it. She couldn’t think of anyone who wouldn’t be supportive of it. Even her parents would support it.

Anna’s parents hadn’t approved of her career choice. It wasn’t surprising. They were very Catholic and most parents wouldn’t want their girl to be taking their clothes off and dancing suggestively for a job. It had been a point of contention before parents and daughter, and the contention had been enough to cause a strained relationship. They still talked. Anna had called them on Christmas, but there was still a tension there. Her parents would be ecstatic that she was thinking about a different path. They’d probably invest. But it would come up. They’d have a comment that she wouldn’t have to be a whore anymore. They wouldn’t say those words, but the meaning would be the same.

That had been the difference with what Cade had said. He had mentioned Kallisti, but it had been today she didn’t have to quit working there. Eventually that would be the case. Then Cade continued to encourage her. He offered advice and suggestions, including talking to Sage and utilizing the AI Sky. Maybe Cade was right. Maybe the time to start making plans was now. And she was sure she could do a free dance class for the kids at Second Chances.

Anna sat up and moved to straddle Cade her hand went to his face and she pulled it to hers, pressing her lips against his with passion. She closed her eyes, sinking into the kiss. When she pulled away she was breathing heavily. ”Thank you, Cade,” she said, her hand remaining on his face. She brought her lips to his again, hips moving against him. She kissed up his jawline, moving to his ear. ”Its been a long time for me too. Will you take me - just one more time?” she whispered to him.

He couldn't say no. Not with her sitting on top of him like that. He grinned up at her "Your wish is my command.

A third round. It had been a long time. Anna lay next to him breathing heavily again. She laughed lightly. ”Sorry - it’s been awhile and…well…when you sell sex for a living, sometimes you need a little yourself.” She sighed gratefully, snuggling in close and resisting she hand on his chest.

She looked at him. ”I hadn’t told anyone about making a dance studio. Not embarrassment, but just didn’t think I’d be able to do it.” Anna didn’t move yet, but she was feeling emboldened by his encouragement. ”You really think I should? I mean - becoming a business owner. That’s a big step. It could be a bit different overwhelming.”

Anna was seriously considering it though. She’d have to come up with a more creative name than Cade did though. Nothing wrong with Anna Rodriguez’s School of Dance, but it lacked some pizzazz. It would need a little more she thought.

”Wouldn’t even know where to start to be honest, but the thought of doing it is exciting. I think I want to do it Cade. Maybe - maybe I can even help people learning to use their magic too. I don’t know. One thing at a time first.” she laughed, but ideas were beginning to come to mind. She just had to organize them.

Cade was more than happy to help. It had been a while for him and he couldn't imagine doing what Anna did without a friendly release of some sort or another. He wouldn't hold it against her in any form. You did what you did. But he was glad she was taking the studio seriously.

"I think you should go for it. Maybe rent some time from another studio to see if you can drum up some business. Doesn't Nox have a guy at a local dojo who he works with? And they teach magic there, I bet they could use you too."

Anna turned to look at the ceiling in thought. Someone believed in her. Not that she didn’t think others didn’t, but it was nice to hear. Nox, it seemed knew everyone. She had some thoughts. Nox was being dumb and not responding to texts, but it wasn’t like she was in a rush. If she got impatient, she could ask Sage if he knew these people. Of course he would if Nox did.

She turned back to Cade. ”So Nox’s martial arts friend has a dojo that teaches the power, but probably needs a woman to teach. Maybe I can rent his dojo for class time and get my name out there. Need some ideas for a name. Something that draws attention,” she hummed in thought before he stomach growled. She laughed. ”Our fun has made me hungry. Do you have snacks?” her mind went back to her studio. She couldn’t believe she was coming up with ideas to make it happen.

Her wallet buzzed and she checked it. A picture from Marta of her and Sterling in dresses and make up. ”Looks like Sterling and Marta are having fun.”

Cade wasn't good at naming things. It was a talent he didn't have. "What's wrong with Anna Rodriquez' School of Dance?" He grinned playfully.

He sat up and grabbed his boxers from the floor and slid them on. "I might. Though it's a tad chilly out here." He wondered if the heat was going out too. This was going to be a rough stay. "If we are getting outta bed we might want to put some more clothes on." He tossed open his closet -- Anna had already been in there. "Feel free to pick out something warmer from the closet or the drawers. Cade opted for some sweat pants, socks and a hoodie he found in the closet. It was thin but there were others in there if he needed more warmth.

Cade wasn't exactly sure what he had that didn't require cooking. [color=#dad]"I wish I had Nox's improvisation skills. I'm told he once lived in a room above the club and used his power to cook steak in a pan like it was nothing. He lives out of two duffle bags. I just can't fathom that kinda life. Or how my biological mother lived that way after us."
Why would she even want to do that? It didn't seem right or fair. Cade wasn't bitter -- or so he thought. He'd gotten over the loss of his mother a long time ago. But seeing Nox sometimes it made those feelings ressurge. And times like this when he was jealous -- not that he got to spend time with her, but that Nox's life was so drastically different than his own. Not that Cade would change it.

Anna watched appreciated as Cade got up and got dressed, getting out of bed as he was finishing up in the closet. She opted for a pair of Cade’s sweat pants that she had to tie at the waist and the white shirt she had worn before with one of hoodies over the top. She had a feeling they were going to be here awhile. She was glad they were getting along well and that things weren’t awkward.

”Nothing wrong with it, I just want something that catches more attention. Like “Fusion Dance” or something. I don’t know. I have time to think about it. There’s a lot to do before I get there.” She said, opening the fridge and doing a quick look. It would be good to keep it shut as much as possible.

Anna spied some baby carrots and got those out. She jumped up and sat on Cade’s counter offering some to Cade as she crunched on a carrot. ”I understand. Your brother is an enigma for sure. I can’t imagine having grown up the way he did. I’m easy to please on the food side though. But I will never turn down a meal he cooks.” She took another bit of carrot. ”So you have something wanting you to go home,” she shivered a bit. It was kind of creepy. ”So weird. Do you think,” she grinned, trying to keep some humor in the situation. ”That it’s a total perv and was watching us.”
