Elias seated himself onto a seat across from Asha, and he layers of his coat pooled around him, draping the seats with black.
Maybe Aria was some sort of girlfriend. It made sense for why Nox spoke so much and knew so much about her. The possibility was pleasing, since it meant, hopefully, Nox would focus more appropriately on her and avoid flirting with Asha.
She'd recovered well enough from what must have been a shock of adrenaline to find her things stolen. Cities were thick with thieves, and elsewhere, mankind were despicable bastards for the most part. Suffice to say, he wasn't surprised that a car full of potential valuables was targeted.
The name of the game was 'Sentient', then, and Sentients were aware of the emotional flux of others. Hyper-awareness of one's feelings was suddenly a curious necessity. He wondered how she had perceived him this whole time. When he looked at her it was almost as if he asked just that, but rather, posed an entirely different question. "Humans only? Or can you sense the emotions of ... other beings?"
Nox eluded to the normalcy of the world being not what it was suppose to be. Asha might be useful to him, and he wouldn't mind keeping her company for a while longer.
