Casey waited patiently as one of the boys went off to find Nox. She wondered what kind of person he was. Seemed like he was always willing to help. It was good to know, it it was something she certainly didn’t want to abuse. Nox arrived rather quickly and sat backwards on a chair nearby, seemingly relaxed.

”Yeah, weird stuff,” she said, noting the wink to Juls. Seemed like Nox had a sense of humor. That was good and relaxing at least. ”Weird dreams to be specific. I have these dreams and they’re just…strange. Nothing has really happened in them. I’m just there. Light seems to come from nowhere and everywhere, and it’s so eerily quiet. People sometimes are there. They appear for a second or two and then gone. My clothes shift a lot. But the weirdest thing. They seem so real. Not even like lucid dreaming. More real than that. I…I know it’s hard to explain, but I just feel like they’re different I don’t know.” she looked towards Juls. ”Jules said you know someone who deals with something similar, but she’s not around right now. I’d like to maybe meet her when I can. If you know more or someone else who could help possibly too, that would be great. To be honest - even though they’re not nightmares…they scare me a little. I just want to know what’s going on.”

Thalia was a dreamer. But she didn't actually know anything more. "I can get you in touch with Thalia when she returns to Moscow. But she doesn't really know anymore than you do about it all. She sketches what she remembers, but it's not a lot. I know there are other that walk in the dreams though. They don't share your gifts in the same sense. But Elyse might be able to help. That flickering bit sounds like an inability with controling the dream and Elyse and her people can help teach you a bit. But their gift comes from something totally different."

Nox pulled out his phone and checked out Elyse's schedule. "She'll be here later, if you can stick around. And if she can't help you she's got some more experienced friends who might have an idea of how to help. But again different abilities, but the control thing should be the same."

Nox fired off a text to Elyse.

Have a possible dream walker here. She's looking for help. You think you might give her some pointers?

He smiled at Casey. "We'll see what Elyse is up to and when Thal gets back I can introduce you. I'm sure Thal would love some understanding from someone going through the same thing. She's also like you in that whole I can channel bit. Though she's not exactly sure on that either, but she's done it enough to be registered." It was by her sister and not herself, but still the Atharim knew about her, and so did the Ascendancy.

Casey let Nox explain. Apparently someone could help her now. He said her gifts were different though. She wondered how, but understood why Nox didn’t offer more. He was perhaps leaving it to his friend Elyse. She had no problem waiting. She had nothing to really do today. Cadence gave them more time off near the holiday to celebrate. It was expected that she practice daily, but no formal rehearsals or recording sessions.

”I don’t mind waiting if you don’t mind me sticking around,” she said also thinking the quiet time would be welcome.

”I have some songs I need to work on, but I’ll stick around too if you need me,” Cadence said, laying a hand on her shoulder.

Casey smiled and stood, pulling Cadence up with her. ”I think I’m good Cade. I’ll be fine,” the pair hugged. ”Thanks, Cade. For everything.”

Cadence left and Casey turned towards the others. ”Thanks for helping me. It really means a lot. I don’t think I have any questions for now, and I don’t want to keep you all from your work. I’m cool with sitting here waiting for Elyse if you guys don’t mind.” Casey could keep herself entertained.

Elyse was getting ready for work when her wallet buzzed and she received the message from Nox. She usually wasn’t one to help when the lost strays came in seeking help with their budding gifts. But if the person in question was a dream walker, she could help. She replied right away.

Getting ready to head out now. Be there soon. If I can help I will.

Elyse finished getting ready. Her costume and a make up kit were at the club, but she finished getting her basic make up done before heading out. She arrived and some of the kids were doing some work. There was only one person she didn’t recognize even if she did look familiar. This had to be the person Nox was talking about. Elyse approached her.

”Hi I’m Elyse. Are you the person Nox told me about. Need help with dreams?”

”Yeah I’m…” the woman’s voice trailed off as she looked up and saw Elyse’s eyes for the first time. Elyse sat down across from her and the woman’s face turned red. ”Oh geez. I’m so sorry.”

Elyse smile and let out a laugh. ”No worries. Your reaction was one of the more endearing ones. What can I help you with…” she asked, trailing off in a way that asked for a name.

”Casey,” the woman answered. ”I have weird dreams.”

Casey went on to explain what was going on. Elyse listened with rapt attention. ”That certainly sounds like the dream world,” she responded.

”Dream world?”

”Its what I call it. But yeah. Your dreams are different. It’s a dream, but it’s also a place. Your body is in bed and your, for lack of a better word, spirit is somewhere else.”

Casey frowned. ”Sounds dangerous. I’d say it also sounds crazy, but then again, I can use magic.”

Elyse nodded. ”It is dangerous. If you get hurt there, you get hurt here too. It has its other dangers as well, but I think I can help you. Teach you how to go in of your own accord and how to leave as well as how to control it. That takes some practice, but the basics will be there. If you’d like to that is? It’s going to mean placing some trust in me. It’d be easier if we were in the same room together. That way if something bad does happen, I can wake you up. I know - it’s weird given we just met, but I think it would be best. No plans here to take advantage, but I’d understand if that would make you uncomfortable. We can work around it if you’d like. It would just be easier.”

Casey didn’t look put off by it, and after a bit she smiled. ”Thats the most unique way I’ve been asked to go to bed with someone. Usually you would at least buy me dinner first,” she laughed and Elyse found herself liking the woman. ”I think I’m okay with that.”

Elyse nodded. ”We can do it tonight if that works for you. Sooner would be better than later for safety reasons. You’re welcome to head over to my place. I live in Nox’s building. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind. Or you can come back when I’m done with my shift.”

”Think I’ll get some food and come back. Maybe see the show here. Some tits and ass are always fun.”

Elyse laughed and gave Casey her number. ”sounds like a plan. Tonight then?” Casey nodded and then headed out.
