If the Dark One was around.....

I don't think Nox would swear his soul to the dark one. But like work for the Ascendancy -- because he believes it's the right thing to do... Yes, he'd do that. The dark one is not not 'good'. And not the right thing.

Soren would for sure end up Forsaken, as a trade off for knowledge. No cost too high.

Oriena would also probably end up on the "dark side", just by her associations and general attitude.

I think the rest would stay with the Light. Though having said that, Thalia could probably go either way, depending on what people she surrounded herself with.

Well, I was wrong about Soren. He's light-fearing. Who'd a thunk it.

Ori, probably still dark side, though I think she'd need incentive. She wouldn't do it for the sake of it.

Thalia ended up Black Ajah in her 3rd Age life. But generally she's a "light" person, it does just depend on her influences.

Did I really only have 3 characters back then?! (edit: oh, nevermind, I said "the rest")

Asha - light
Eidolon - light, for sure
Zeke - well... (darkfriend with delusions of grandeur)
Helena - she's for the light, though you wouldn't know it. Her soul is all about balance so I suppose under the right circumstances.
Morven - could probably go either way. Sekmet was SCARY
Natalie - light, obviously, though she can make very morally grey decisions.
Nhysa - hmm, you know I'm not sure
Noemi - probably light. Though if Hades had a 3rd Age life, whatever he was
Raffe - he was for the light
Sesuna - light
Sofia - Forsaken material
Tenzin - light
Vena - light
Visha - dark most like, depending on if she was persecuted. Or maybe she'd be unlucky and born shadowspawn 0_o
Zhenya - light

I decided early on that Hades/Nik would not have a rebirth on the 'other side' of the wheel. My rationalization is that the he serves the purpose of the pattern specifically 'on this side' of the Wheel to herald the return of channeling to the world, and accelerate the world's reliance on channelers so to force them to develop their abilities. (aka, when humanity will have to rely on channeling to survive WW-3-level-apocalypse).

He could have been persuaded to the Ishy's semi-nihilism though. Hades had a pretty dark and morbid personality, which was one reason all the gods hated him. In the Age of Legends, Ishy wrote 'Analysis of Perceived Meaning', 'Reality and the Absence of Meaning' and 'The Disassembly of Reason.' which reminds me of the writings of Nikolai Brandon, particularly "Immaturity" and "Coddling."

In which case she probably follows him by refusing to be born at all Tongue

Adrian - we know how that turned out the first time and the second time
Andre - light
Evelyn - painfully, annoyingly light
Kiyohito - light, probably a hero of the horn
Maksim - too wimpy to be a darkfriend
Ryker - Forsaken, was a forsaken, will always be a forsaken
Tristan - uhh shit I dont know *rubs head.
Zixin - darkness incarnate
"So?" said Loki impatiently.  "This isn't the first time the world has come to an end, and it won't be the last either."
