Giovanni went flying through the air, tables and chairs getting pushed away as he hit them. Giovanni formed a cushion of air behind him, lessening the impact as he hit the wall. Giovanni rolled behind a table broken table to shield himself as he stood. Behind the table, he quickly pulled out the revolver and loaded it and then loosened one of the throwing knives. The kid pissed him off and Giovanni wanted blood.

Giovanni returned the revolver to its hiding place before standing to face the boy, and something happened as he did. He had always heard Ordine and Chaos originating from the same spot in his head, but at this moment they appeared to separate, Caos going to the right and Ordine to the left. The voices became louder; Caos maniacal laughter roared in his ears as Ordine screamed "No!
Then suddenly, Caos attacked Ordine. The shrieking intensified before getting suddenly quiet; Caos returned to the right side still laughing, and Ordine made sniffling sounds. Was she crying?

Giovanni brushed the dust off of his shoulder. This is a new fucking suit.
Giovanni echoed Caos.

Then Giovanni attacked, sending spikes of spirit at the wall of air. He sent them one at a time right after another, the point hit the same spot of the wall. Giovanni could see lines like fractures spreading through the wall and suddenly it gave and was gone.

The bloodlust roared, echoing Caos' fury. The boy expected him to attack with the power, and Giovanni complied - for a time. He held the power still, but as the wall shattered he reached for the throwing knife and sent it hurtling towards Nox. The knife release, he began to pull out the revolver.

Nox watched as the shield started to shatter. He could have just let it go, and he should have to make it easier to weave the next weave, but he needed the time. Nox dropped the whip weave and started something else. The thunderclap before was not meant to hurt, just to be loud. This time, was different. As the shield fell, Nox dropped to the floor and release the thunderclap. It radiated out from him. The intention was to stun and stall, to allow for room to prepare. Why he needed that particular weave was not part of Nox's memories, it came out of instinct and was useful now.

The weave of fire and air was back in his hand and Nox let loose the coil and wrapped it around Giovanni's hand, yanked and watched the revolver fall to the ground before he could fire it off.

The stun was not quite as powerful as he'd like, there was little he could do about it now. And it gave him another thought, another weave, but he'd save it for later, to get out if this went even farther south. Nox had no idea why he'd done what he had, instinct, he was running on pure instinct. If only he could remember why those instincts were there.

So Giovanni finally grew a set.

She didn't resist the kiss, nor the way it lingered on her lips, though she smirked around it. His breath hovered by her ear afterwards, hissing threats. He didn't want to play her games, but didn't seem to realise he didn't have a choice. That the more he resisted, the deeper her claws would sink. "That's twice in one day you've let me. Sweetheart."
She had more to say, but no opportunity to say it. Giovanni slammed backwards, amidst an arc of raining tables and chairs.

Oriena had no idea what had changed, but it elicited a grin as she scooped her bottle safely off the table and slid off her seat. Those patrons who'd braved the black-out seemed to rethink their loyalty when the furniture started flying. Light flushed through Ori's skin, but only in self-protection; she didn't interfere. Pity she couldn't see what was going on, though. A few steps backwards pushed her flush with the wall, where she watched, tipping the bottle to her lips. And she would continue to watch, amused; at least until the point it went too far. She didn't want them dead.

Giovanni grimaced a bit and staggered as Nox used the thunderclap again. It was followed by a strike from the boys fire/air whip thing and Giovanni's pistol went cluttering to the floor. His suit protected his flesh from getting scorched too badly, but Giovanni could feel the heat of the whip. Caos was still laughing manically in his head while Ordine whimpered. Giovanni found himself not caring about the plight of the voice in his head.

Giovanni smiled. The boy was good - and the challenged thrilled him. That thunderclap was a neat trick - and Giovanni knew how to do it now. He released the weave to stun Nox. The boy was stunned, but the weave was new to Giovanni and he suffered from it as well. He marked down that he needed to remember to work on that. The boy had seemed unaffected by his own use of it.

Giovanni regathered himself and prepared a weave of air that he flung at Nox, distracting him for a little while longer. The weave wasn't as strong as he would have liked. Giovanni was tiring and his shoulder had begun to ache a bit. The move was meant to give Giovanni time to close the distance between himself and Nox.

Giovanni ran forward as soon as he released the weave, closing the distance between them. Giovanni grabbed Nox's wrist - the one holding the whip - and initiated a grapple with him. The power was all good, but Giovanni's bloodlust was still going strong. This was personal.

Giovanni tried to mimic the weave he'd done and it backfired too. Nox didn't have time to relish in that fact as the wave of sound made him cover his ears. He'd forgotten how much it had hurt and the power fled his tenuous grasp.

A weave of air distracted Nox even further and the power was unreachable no matter how frantically Nox tried to grasp it. It was there he could see it, he could feel it but it was not something he could attain, it was like missing his hand.

Giovanni rushed him and he grabbed the wrist that had held the whip, what a surprise he'd have if he actually looked. Nox disliked grappling, you don't grapple with monsters, and Nox had no weapons. He wasn't completely incapable of fighting close combat. But the only weapon Nox had was the bottle in his free hand.

But really what was he fighting for, the girl? Seriously, not him. Why had he defended her, why had this man provoked such a recation. Nox laughed. "Come now, if you wanted to dance all you had to do was ask."
Nox grabbed Giovanni's other hand and let the momentum take them where ever it went. He honestly didn't care anymore. A few more bruises or broken bones were nothing compared to what he'd gained in that stupid plane crash.

The feeling of combat was exhilarating. The need to conquer arose in Giovanni. He had been hiding too long and was ready to reach his full potential. It would take work, work that had started with Luciano and was continuing here; for once, Giovanni wasn't feeling like a wandering zombie. Something was happening - and as he worked with Caos, he felt it stronger.

Giovanni almost laughed at what Nox said. It was actually kind of humorous even though Giovanni found the boy obnoxious. In close quarters the adrenaline rush was exhilarating. Giovanni went with the momentum instead of resisting and the two men spun quickly, the room spinning with them.

Giovanni hooked his foot behind Nox's and brought his foot back attempting to trip him up. The end of the fight was near.

This was going to hurt. Nox could feel Giovanni trying to trip him up. He felt the sudden change in direction. The ground rushed up to meet his back. Nox did everything in his power to keep from smashing his head into the floor beneath. It did little good, but he was still conscious when he landed, despite the lack of breathe.

Nox cracked the beer bottle on the ground hard when he fell. It was a deliberate move. It was his only weapon, the power fled every time he tried to grasp it. it was a futile attempt and Nox had given up hope. He'd have to work on that feat. Something nagged at him but he didn't have time to deal with it.

The weight of the man from the fall was crushing, but Nox laughed none-the-less. He wore a grin which he turned to mock vile disgust. "Now, see I don't do that."

Nox kneed the man between his legs. He felt the sympathy of it, but he was able to quickly roll out from underneath the man. The fight was boring now, the power was gone and the physical abuse he could take was not likely good for his healing body. Nox really didn't want to have to go back to the hospital for those so called therapy sessions, but his body ached in places he knew he should not.

Sitting on the ground out of arms reach while Giovanni recovered from the cheap shot. Nox grinned. "Okay. I don't want to hurt you."
He glanced over at Oriena. "She aint' worth the aches and pains, or my death. So you can have her."
He grinned. "Spoils of war."
Nox knew that it would not settle well with Oriena being some prize to be won. Most women hated and loved it all at the same time.

Nox tried for the power, and found it sitting there, he'd calmed down enough, and the power was grasped quickly and easily as it had been prior. He smiled at the power inside. It was going to be war if Giovanni didn't stop now. All is fair, but Nox was done playing games. He wanted to go home, sleep the pain off and go find this mystery girl from his memories.

Giovanni lost his breath as Nox's knees connected with his nuts and Nox rolled out from underneath him. Ok - Giovanni had wanted blood - but there are some things you just don't do.

Regardless of the pain in his junk, Giovanni's bloodlust was retreating. A strange reaction for the cheap shot Nox just gave. Normal men would have gotten pissed off, Giovanni began to admire the man for the move. Most wouldn't have gone for the nut shot - especially with a broken bottle in their hands. The move was unexpected - chaotic - and Giovanni started to laugh.

His laughter wasn't quite as maniacal as Caos'. It was full of life and joy. The laughter came right after Nox mentioned Oriena as a prize and the thought of it added to the laughter. That comment wouldn't blow over well.

Giovanni stayed on the ground laughing for a bit waiting for the pain to subside a bit. He got up and walked over to the bar, the laughing becoming less, but still a few chuckles went on as Giovanni got two bottles of beer. He opened both of them and walked back to Nox - his walk a little slower than usual. Giovanni handed Nox a bottle and clinked his own against it before taking a drink. Giovanni could hear Ordine getting louder and although she sniffled, she offered the word "Hope..."

Giovanni thought to her "Shut up - he's more fun."

The whimper grew into sobs, but Ordine quieted as he spoke to Nox.

"Well that was fun."
Giovanni smiled - the smile genuine. He gestured at the broken bottle. "The broken one's don't work so well. Thought I'd get you another."

Laughter broke the silence. Nox looked at the other man with confusion. It wasn't humor and it was not sarcasm that came from that laugh, it was almost insanity. Nox was glad he had stopped fighting however. He wasn't sure his body was going to like him after what little physical abuse he'd just withstood. He'd have to hit the gym and get back in shape, it seemed physical therapy wasn't just about them causing pain, maybe it would help. But Nox wasn't about to go back to the hospital, he'd spent enough time there and no matter how many pretty nurses tried to make him, he wasn't going back.

Giovanni handed him a beer, Nox too it cautiously, he was not sure of the state of this one's mind. Clinking the bottles in good ol' pal no harm done Nox only returned the gesture, but it was a beer it was unscathed by their impromptu battle. Nox took a long swig of the beer before he nodded. It really hadn't been fun. His body ached, his head hurt, he could feel the bones in his body complaining. Every bruise he'd had from the plane seemed to radiate the pain again. The power inside him raged, Nox reluctantly dropped it, the pain ebbed and he felt relatively normal. Still his body ached, but hopefully a hot shower would do him good.

Nox grinned. "Thanks.
He glanced at the woman standing against the wall. "I'll let you get back to your game. I got to go see about a girl."
Nox grinned. The girl in his memory, just a silhouette, but she called to him. He looked back at the woman and spoke loudly. "A pleasure Duckling. Do enjoy the companies of the victor."
He grinned. He knew he would upset her, but he had no intentions of sticking around. With a nod of the head and a wave of a fake hat, Nox bid them adieu in classic John Wayne style, swagger and all.

And Giovanni hated Nox again. The boy had an insolent attitude that didn't jive well with Giovanni. Whatever - the little fucker was gone. Giovanni retrieved his weapons and this time left the gun loaded. He rotated his shoulder a little. The wound had gotten tight from being thrown around and was sore again before he walked up to Oriena and leaned on the wall next to her.

He clinked bottles with her and took a long drink, putting an arm around her shoulder. "It's been an interesting day. You never did tell me why you were following me, sweetheart."

Giovanni wanted to know her motives, but he also wanted more. He wanted a partnership. She was an interesting woman - and not bad to look at either. He wasn't looking for anything romantic - he had no interest in romantic relationships. She already knew that he'd be interested in other things, but he didn't even care if he got that at this point. He knew he had things to learn...Giovanni could learn from her. He was sure she was a goddess, and he liked the way she did things.
