Red Star has open floor space for practice including areas with hard floor and soft mat surfaces. There is a separate fitness and weight area with additional open space for calisthenics and plyometric work. A nutrition bar offers vitamins, supplements, protein, energy and other recovery-based menu items. There are locker rooms in the back. On-site coaches are available for programming and technique work or to simply be a sparring partner. The various coaches and trainers are the individuals critiquing visitors interested in membership. Word of mouth or personal recommendations are also taken into account when vetting. Fees are paid on a monthly basis.
