Early Life
Rhodenin was a warrior of the Black Water Sept of the Nakai Aiel. Unbeknownst to him, he was actually the child of Tiallin Sharif, a Maiden of the Spear of the White Mountain Sept of the Chareen Aiel. Following Aiel custom, after his birth, he was given to the Wise Ones, who found him a step parent that would in no way lead either mother or son a way to find the other.
As a child, he studied the spear and eventually earned his place amongst the algai’d’siswai. His skills led him to eventually join the Aethan Dor (Red Shield) Society, and he spent his short amount of time with them, policing the Aiel.
Into the Blight
This would change when at the age of twenty, Rhodenin sparked and channeled the one power for the first time. A proud Aielman, he didn’t hide this and as all men who could channel tainted Saidin were, he was sent into the Blight to kill Shadowspawn until he was overrun and died in battle.
Turned
Rhodenin was able to learn how to channel in the Blight. He had nothing more to do other than to fight and kill Shadowspawn. Eventually he was noticed, and through a ritual was turned to the Shadow, becoming Samma N’Sei. His teeth have been filed to points and with no other choice, he now fights for the Shadow.
