Second Chances began in New York as a grassroots effort founded by Lore Dearborn, dedicated to helping the homeless and displaced reintegrate into society. Its mission focused on practical recovery—connecting individuals to employment opportunities, providing job training and interview preparation, and offering a permanent address for correspondence and government documentation. When Anastasia Vega acquired the organization in 2044, she refined and expanded the model, transforming it into a self-sustaining network of social renewal now being implemented across multiple countries, including Spain.

Building on that foundation, Nox Durante established Second Chances – Moscow, a newly formed branch that both honors and evolves the original mission. His expansion introduces two key initiatives: The Orphan Project, which provides care, shelter, and long-term placement for children orphaned by monster attacks or Atharim operations, and a community health program focused on accessible physical and mental healthcare for all who have suffered trauma. While the organization specializes in helping those affected by supernatural violence and collateral damage, its doors remain open to anyone in need of stability and renewal. In Moscow, Second Chances stands as both a humanitarian refuge and a quiet resistance against despair—a place where rebuilding begins with compassion.
