Lucifer, the Fallen
Lord of the Morning

Lucifer was one of the Archangels and a servant of El. Known as the “Morning Star,” it was said that Lucifer shone brightest amongst his kin. He never questioned orders, following El’s lead and fighting for peace and justice. He worked alongside Uriel, Rafael, Gabriel, and his twin brother, Michael, believing that in doing so, he was doing the best for those among them.
Lucifer was described as one of the most beautiful and among the other archangels, was on par with his twin. A skilled musician, he began to sing the praises of El, leading many in the worship of who they considered to be their creator.
Seeds of Doubt

As El gained power and began to rule the many empires in the Middle East, Lucifer began to become prideful. His own praises were often spoken of in high esteem. He became jealous of the one he served. Even if he didn’t openly oppose El, he began to question his leadership, and would often argue with him.
As Naamah began to sow seeds of discord with Samyaza and Azazel, Lucifer approached Barachiel. He began to whisper words to the Watcher, sowing doubt and encouraging his love of Leviathan. Among these, he whispered worries that El was changing, sowing seeds of doubt into the watcher.
This process he continued with other Watchers, while Naamah worked on the leadership. The two did not work in consort, but in the same way, they fractured the Watchers into factions, weakening their resolves. As the Nephelim rose and the Archangels were sent on their missions, Lucifer moved to strike. He summoned his followers, rendezvoused with Barachial, who was promoted to his Lieutenant, and sent them on their way. Brachial, filled with envy, was the first to spill the blood of another Watcher, and Lucifer set him up to take the fall.
Fall From Grace

The war went on and those who rebelled were taken into custody and punished. As the war neared its end, Michael uncovered the truth of his brother’s treachery and, feeling it was his duty, led a force to bring him to justice. A fight ensued and Michael severed his brother from the source, bringing an end to the rebellion.
Lucifer was sentenced to the Lake of Fire – a ter’angreal that forces the bearer to feel like they were being burned alive – until death took him. Devoid of the power – he felt nothing but pain and emptiness until he died.
