I have a question. I know some of you have some 4th age past lives. I was wondering what criteria they fall under. Other than the dark one isn't there. It's thriving after Rand saves things, tech and magic are starting to make a resurrgance.
I'm just curious.
I'm considering adding another life to Nox's past lives. One in the 4th age that is a spun out Hero of the Horn. (Though I don't know if it's necessary as Geb might possibly qualify as a hero for the actual things he did before the god wars.) Which I don't actually know if he participated on what side lol.

The Age of Heroes is perfect for what I originally intended.
If in the 5th Age Ged loses his "hero of the horn" status by being a bad 'god'. And in the 1st age he's remaking himself to be the Hero of the Horn allowing him to be called during the last battle with the Horn of Valere is blown. And then being reborn in the 4th age as a Hero (and as a reward)
Then again being reborn in the 5th age and falling on his face... thus repeating the cycle.
so I'm thinking being born at the 'dawn' of the 4th age. and then again in the beginning of the 5th age. I'm actually thinking though that because Ged isn't deposed by anyone from his reign as pharo, he passed the ball to osiris and it became how the throne was passed from then on out.
I'm thinking that maybe in his death is where they attribute him to the underworld and binding the bad to the souls. like when they buried him that's when he started being one of the tribunal of the dead.
And Geb was a good god for the most part. He is the only Earth god (nature) the one who makes things grow etc. And if he's not there for the godwars then he isn't assassinated by the Atharim he's already 'dead'.

But if everything happens with a cycle do new heroes of the horn just get added. but since it's a wheel wouldn't they have to be undone to be added again?
Or does it change the whole 'thread'

I'm not saying that Nox isn't a hero of the horn soul reborn lol. I'm okay with Ged being a hero of the horn as well and no redemption arc needed. AI kinda actually talked me into him already being one as he wasn't a bad 'god'. A little strange with his lovers but to each their own lol.
I hate adding it as a thing, because Nox is so many things which is sorta why I was trying to 'earn' that spot this life. Like that's his ultimate end goal.
And then I was also playing with the idea of him being heroic in the third age as a Lan like character the whole I don't want to be king a servant of the people and then the ultimate sacrafice in the end to save the world (ie I won't spoil it for Thal but one of my favorite scenes in the entire series). But then he can't be called to the last battle via the horn.... so... yeah thinking a rewarded 4th age life shortly after the end of the last battle

cool! See this is why I ask questions lol. WoT lore is not my strong suit been a long time since I've read them. Well that is good to know. I still kinda like earning the 'status' in this life. Not exactly sure how that happens exactly but it is a goal I have on MY list of things for Nox to do. Not that he'd ever live to see that status himself lol

As I understand it the life that “earns” the status of Hero would be the appearance they take when called. For example - Claude would be Leonidas if called by the horn.
Also I don’t think death is a requirement to become a hero of the horn, but it is a requirement to be called when it blows. If the horn was blown now, Leonidas wouldn’t pop in because Claude is alive. I know how hard it would be to kill your muse - so he can become one without self-sacrifice.
