I (Hood, Drayson, Jacques) have been muchly absent for what...almost two months now? and will continue to be so for another almost two months or so? Probably home no later then end-September.

Off to British Columbia due to the ongoing forest fires. No, I will not be fighting forest fires. I shall, at the most exciting, be digging fire breaks by hand in tall grass, or manning control points to assist the police with evacuation or resettling of areas.

As an example of how safe and secure I am likely to be, I am bringing a coffee maker, a television, and a comfortable folding chair, which I expect to get much use of.

I am fairly certain of being of middling-confidence that I am probably back-ish and maybe not going anywhere any time soon, possibly. So now I need to figure out what the heck to do with Hood, Jacques, and Drayson...which is going to be quite the challenge, I suspect.
